Change Agent Team

The System Change Agent Team of Department of Fisheries (DFAR) Sri Lanka is a specialized group tasked with driving transformation and fostering innovation. Their primary role is to identify areas needing improvement, develop strategies for change, and implement these strategies effectively. The team often includes members with diverse skills in project management, policy analysis, communication, and technology.

Key responsibilities of Change Agent Team

Assessing Current Processes

Evaluating existing workflows and identifying inefficiencies or outdated practices.

Developing Change Strategies

Crafting comprehensive plans that outline the steps needed to achieve desired improvements.

Implementing Change

Executing the strategies, such as training staff, upgrading technology, or altering organizational structures.

Monitoring and Evaluating

Continuously assessing the impact of changes and making necessary adjustments to ensure successful outcomes.

Engaging Stakeholders

Communicating effectively with all stakeholders, including employees, management, and the public, to gain support and ensure smooth transitions.
